We strive to be a beacon of humanitarian, philanthropic, and charitable efforts, ensuring that the needy, widows, and vulnerable members of our society receive the help and support they deserve. Solidarity and mutual understanding are the cornerstones of our association. We are dedicated to fostering good fellowship among our members and building strong alliances with similar organizations both locally and internationally.

Aims and Objectives

Customs Officers’ Wives Association (COWA) President Promotes Mental Health, Physical Fitness.

To foster the bond of friendship, promote cordial relationship and enhance unity amongst custom officers’ wives.

To promote and provide social and welfare programmes for all ranks of the force, their families and the public.

To be humanitarian, philanthropic and charitable and to cater and help the needy, widows and vulnerable members of the society.

To promote solidarity, mutual understanding and good fellowship between COWA members and members of similar Association.

To liaise, collaborate and co-operate with other Associations with similar aims and objiectives and other organisations both locally and intemationally in pursuance of the Associations aims and objectives.

To complement the effort of the security agencies in combating crime and terrorism by promoting security consciousness and sensitivity k. To generally promote all activities, programmes and project aimed at alleviating poverty by organizing training, seminars, and workshop and provision of Micro Credit and Cooperative Schemes.

To establish, maintain and operate recreational centres and parks, shopping plaza and `centres, educational institutions, skills acquisition centres, orphanage, etc. with a view of economically empowering beneficiaries to maximize their potentials and effectively utilizing limited resources.

To achieve any other aim and objects that is incidental or conducive to the attainment of any of the objects or which may be in the opinion of the National Executive Committe with its aims, or is calculated directly or indirectly to develop the Association.

To cater for the retiree and widows of the deceased officer family from time to time.

To sponsor and promote ideas, initiatives and programmes that wil bring about social development and behavioural change in the society.

To provide and expand opportunities through access to education, skils training and empowerment programmes to all needy, widows and vulnerable Members and Society.
